Frequently Asked Questions
Do you accept insurance?
Yes! I accept most common insurances including Cigna, Aetna, United Healthcare, UMR, Anthem, Sentara Health Plans, Carelon Behavioral Health, Quest Behavioral Health, Oscar, and Oxford. I do not take Medicaid or Medicare at this time. I also offer self pay prices and the option of a sliding scale for low income clients.
Can I contact my therapist or prescriber between appointments?
Once you begin care with Brighter Tomorrows, you will have a patient portal through which you can schedule and reschedule appointments, obtain information about your diagnosis, complete assessments requested by your provider, and message your provider 24/7.
What does treatment with Brighter Tomorrows look like?
After your initial evaluation and diagnosis session, we will meet frequently until your treatment is stable. After that, ongoing check-ins are required every 60-days to discuss and/or update your treatment plan and fill your prescriptions. Medications are sent to the pharmacy of your choice. Cost for medications is separate and based on your insurance.
Proven comprehensive care for better results. Studies consistently show the synergistic value of medication and counseling. Medication helps improve symptoms while you work with your counselor to develop long-term, life-changing skills. Therefore, all of my clients are encouraged to have a therapist or counselor that they meet with regularly.
